Nihal brings extensive experience in the Energy Industry, working with Occidental Petroleum Oman and Qatar Shell GTL. Her focus was on new business development, negotiations, and systems implementation, spanning Qatar, Oman, Malaysia, the UK, and the Netherlands. At Shell, she led sustainable industrial projects in Ras Laffan.
She helped develop Maktaba, Qatar’s first public children’s library.
Currently, as the Director of Programs at Qatar Foundation’s sustainability center, Earthna, she leads strategy development for the Foundation’s Sustainability Strategic Initiative for testbeds and Pilots. She also contributed to accessibility initiatives for the Qatar Foundation World Cup Master Program.
Nihal holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration (Finance and Management Information Systems) from Boston University, a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the University of London-SOAS, and accreditation as a Regenerative Practitioner.
